EN RESiDÈNCiA (2024)
Participation in the EN RESiDÈNCiA programme through Cuerpos en Escucha, a research project developed in collaboration with Ida Barbati and selected by Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB) and the Consorci d’Educació de Barcelona.
Developed with a first-year secondary class at Institut Doctor Puigvert, the project unfolds as a collective process of artistic research centered on the body as a site of perception, relation, and awareness.
Working through interdisciplinary practices, Cuerpos en Escucha explores gesture, movement, and spatial relation as forms of knowledge. The process shifts away from purely verbal language, opening ways of thinking through action, repetition, and shared experience.
A key dimension of the work lies in the development of pedagogical tools oriented toward self-organization and collective modes of working. Rather than reproducing predefined structures, the process supports the emergence of shared forms of decision-making, responsibility, and authorship, allowing the group to operate as an active and evolving collective.
The work is built through exercises that activate presence, listening, and relation—where meaning is not imposed but produced through interaction. Within this framework, instability and openness are sustained as necessary conditions, enabling participants to engage with processes that remain unfinished and in transformation.
Cuerpos en Escucha positions artistic research as an embodied, relational, and collective practice, where knowledge is produced through experience and continuously negotiated in common.
