Cuerpos en Escucha is an artistic research project initiated in collaboration with Ida Barbati that explores the activation of collective spaces where co-creation and multidisciplinary experimentation are entangled with territory. Situated at the intersection of art, pedagogy and social practice, the project develops long-term relationships with local communities and organisations.

Grounded in a practice that understands art as both pedagogical and political, the project moves beyond technique to engage artistic processes as sites of shared knowledge, relation and critical reflection. It unfolds through participatory formats that combine movement-based practices, visual arts and collective creation.

The project was initiated in 2022 following the Unzip Visual Arts Grant (Photography and Society), through which a community-based process was developed in El Prat de Llobregat in collaboration with Centre Cívic Jardins de la Pau. This initial phase unfolded through interconnected moments of education, production and exhibition, establishing a framework for collaborative modes of making and forms of micropolitical activation grounded in shared experience.
